AdSense Approval Delays Due to COVID-19 (2020)
With the start of 2020, I changed my blog's domain name. Since I'm pretty lazy and don't update it often, I gave it a fitting name. I submitted a new application for AdSense approval, and since I have a decent amount of content and was approved before, I didn't even consider getting rejected. However, the process was taking so long that I looked up the reason, and it turns out it's because of COVID-19.
After the coronavirus spread to the US and Europe, working from home apparently became the norm in the US. I'm not sure if it's because of that or if their employees actually got infected, but as shown below, the service is currently "temporarily unavailable."
To think that AdSense approvals are being delayed because of COVID... So many surprising things are happening these days due to the virus.

We are working around the clock to resolve these issues and will update this message as the situation changes."
