Godiva: The Best Chocolate Ice Cream in Korea
It's a bit of a stretch to call this a restaurant, and it feels silly to "introduce" such a famous chocolate franchise. But since I go crazy and run to buy it whenever I see one, I'm writing a short post like a diary entry. At this rate, I'll be writing about Starbucks next.
Godiva chocolate is famous for its high quality and expensive price tags. When Godiva finally started opening stores in Korea, the reason I—an ordinary consumer—was so incredibly happy was because of their double chocolate ice cream. Places selling my favorite soft serve were disappearing, and the ones that remained watered it down so much that I was always left disappointed, wondering if it was ice cream or just a block of ice. But once Godiva arrived, all those worries vanished instantly. With rich milk added to deep chocolate for a smooth finish, I was finally able to taste what I'd call a near-perfect soft serve ice cream.
