Seoul Cycling: Namsan and Bugaksan Route
Today is one of those rare days where I post right after riding. It was that much fun, and I'm in a great mood because I hit a PR (Personal Record) on Namsan, so I'm uploading this right away. I tried to ride the "Nambuk" course—climbing Namsan and Bugaksan (mountains in Seoul)—with minimal breaks. The route went toward the Blue House, crossed over to the other side, went over Gaeunsan, and came down along the Jeongneungcheon stream. It's a great course for riding non-stop for about three hours.
Lately, I couldn't use my Cycliq dashcams because both the front and rear ones broke, but SportsOn 77 responded quickly, so today I rode with both attached. Because of that, all the photos are video captures. Next time, I should take a few pictures with my phone on the way up.

As always, the public roads leading to Bugaksan aren't easy for beginners like me. Plus, since I was riding with people who couldn't go very fast, there was a dangerous moment where we almost collided with a car. I think I should only go to Bugaksan when I'm fast enough to keep up with the pack ahead on the road. Or maybe I should just do the reverse Bugaksan route.

Since I filmed with the dashcam today, editing is a hassle, so I just uploaded a 5-minute riding video. It was shot in 1080p at 60fps. If anyone is thinking about buying a Cycliq product, please check out the sample below before deciding. Personally, the downsides are the Fly12 CE's poor low-light performance, the Fly6 CE's short battery life, and their vulnerability to rain. The upside? It's easy to get good riding footage.
