Shamrock Irish Pub: Riverside Live Music in Hoi An
I felt a bit sad just going straight back to my room, so I wandered around looking for a bar with a view of the river. Then I heard music from afar and found myself drawn to the Shamrock Irish Pub. It is located right next to 11 Coffee, which I think is the best place to grab a coffee in Hoi An.
The Shamrock Pub, where the same band takes turns playing and singing, has something a bit different about it compared to other places. Usually, bars like this are packed with excited groups of foreigners, but this place surprisingly has a lot of people drinking alone. I am not sure if it is always like this or if today is just a special case. Whatever the reason, I completely understand and relate to the fact that the live music makes it feel a little less awkward to be here alone.
